just to let you know that creating a pages doesn't mean that you have to just insert a line where it states who that person is. Inserting the character info template or else it is useful to other users to edit the page, and it avoids to have an incomplete content for a long amount of time.
A little advise, you should take an already created page as a template and start from it to create all the new pages so you'll know which info needs to be there.
In the World Beyond sneak peek, they refer to the community as the Campus Colony, not the Nebraska State University. The latter is simply where the city was established. Best to use Campus Colony as the community name unless otherwise stated. Thanks for understanding.
As to your first point I'll relent, especially since you at least awknowledged on that page that it is Nebraska Sate University.
As to your second point, I would not do that, rather might presumptous of you to assume such a thing.
not to mention that Alexandria isn't a city in Virgina but rather a town house in Virginia (like Wiltshire Estates) & the Barrington House is a location within Hilltop but isn't actually all of Hilltop (like how the Woodbury Arena is inside Woodbury but clearly isnt all of Woodbury)
No. If their names have been confirmed by the actors then they should be presented as fact on the wiki. They are not the only examples of this by the way with Bud (Savior 1) and Edward (Blonde Wolf) being some examples who have a page but not the correct name on the page despite the fact that they were at one point presented with those names. Furthermore there were pages for named characters in the past that now no longer exsist such as Clara & Gloria (both Woodbury Residents), Ross (Martinez Camp Ground Survivor), and Flora (Kingdom Soldier).I find it a severely unfair that named characters, although extremely minor at times, don't even get their own pages and put on the character TV portal, especially if they are named. You can take it down "admin" but it wont change the fact that you are doing a further disjustice to these characters. Like I said, if they have been given names, then that should be reflected on the wiki.
A majority of those names, if not all, are names given by the actors, not the actual producers. Which is why we dont accept them. An actor is not a credible source for a character name, especially if they admit they made it up themselves. We already went through all this like a year ago, and it WAS the admins decision to make the changes and not credit those characters. If you have any further problems with it, please contact one of them. Preferably Mister T as he was around when all that happened.
Like I said, most, if not all, made up the name themselves. It wasn't a name given by the producers or directors. Not credible enough. For example, just because the actor named his character Bud, doesn't mean that that's the characters name.
what's wrong with an actor adding more lore into TWD world? Don't we want to know more about TWD world? What you guys do is instead restrict TWD lore from expanding with odd restrictions such as those.
Because those names are made up. They don't belong in a place where we only post information that is credible and information that is 100% true. That's why we usually add to their trivia that the actor named them such and such. We dont ignore it, but "fan fiction" isnt allowed on the Wiki. And thats what the actors are doing, just making up the names to add like you said, some lore. But if that lore isnt coming from the producers, it can't be taken as fact. But I don't see any point in continuing to talk about it, if you feel strongly enough about it, please talk to Mister T or one of the other admins. Or make a forum thread about it.
Yeah we should just use the Woodbury Resident title. You can keep the names Natalie and Eric in the trivia sections though, since the names were made up by the actors and not given to them or from the script, etc, like Chloe, Quan, Kyle, etc were.
