Well. here's the thing. I created this wiki almost a year ago. Here's the link https://my-little-pony-w-reiner-and-bertholdt.fandom.com/f and well I want to create info boxes for the characters. Specficlly I want the info boxes to be like the ones on this wiki. You know Green ones for characters who are alive, Red ones for characters who are Dead, and Blue ones for characters who are unknown.
Also I'd like the chart that is at the bottom of each character page, that has each character name, and what group they're part of.
Yeah it would be possible to set them up at your wiki. The chart at the bottom of the page - you are referring to Template:Characterstv. As for coding, I am not super familiar and you'd get a better answer from someone like User:Devinthe66 in regards to how to get the infobox etc onto your wiki :)
I have a question to ask you and the other admins of this wiki, if you're willing to share your thoughts. As you're probably aware, Fandom is preparing to move all wikis onto a new community platform and part of that process is the upcoming migration of your forums to Discussions.
Now, it's not quite time for that yet. We'll share more information and there will be some improvements to Discussions before anything gets migrated.
However, your community's forums stand out among the 2,000 or so remaining forum communities because it has a higher-than-most percentage of people who post anonymously. Why do you think that is? Do you feel like the posts you receive from anonymous users are generally just as productive and welcome as the ones from logged-in users?
Discussions does not currently allow anonymous users to post. That means, once your forums have been migrated to Discussions, the users who don't have accounts would either have to log in or could no longer post. Do you think the community could lose valuable people and conversations due to this?
I am a little confused, the forums we use do not really have anon comments - I believe it was several years back that we decided to turn off anons for this wiki so they could not edit/contribute/etc due to high number of vandals back then.
I personally have not used Discussions so I can't say I'm too familiar with it. But if people have to make an account to use it, I don't see why not - it would encourage them to make edits on the wiki too.
If the anonymous posts were from years back and it's not been a factor recently, then I suppose I can answer my own question: In that regard at least, the migration to Discussions will bring no change and not be problem! :)
People signing up and becoming regular contributors is indeed one of the reasons why Discussions doesn't allow anonymous posts.
Should some people who died in a way that would result in reanimation be put as undead even if we didn't see them reanimate? I mean Mitch the tank guy was shot in the chest, shouldn't he be undead due to no brain damage? And if the walkers got to him I don't think he would be eaten to the point he doesn't reanimate.
All these characters currently have an unknown status, but I believe it's save to assume that the missing Saviors all died during the destruction of the Sanctuary and that the missing Alexandrians were all evecuated safely to the hosipital; since we didn't see them being killed by Beta when he attacked Alexandria and everyone who survived that attack and the attack on Hilltop (as well as Oceanside) were evecuated safely to the Hospital. Don't you agree? If you do; can I please edit these characters statuses?
Hello, this is something the wiki has discussed numerous times in the past. In the end, we've come to the conclusion that those missing Saviors (Mark, Amber, Tanya, Gina, Potter, Brooke, Mel, and John) simply went their own ways. We know the Sanctuary fell as a community, but we don't know what exactly happened, other than that some people decided to join the AHKO communities after being invited, and others evidentially went their separate ways, which is believable. Sort of like the Morales family in S1 (before we learned what happened in S8). So as a result, they are all unknown. Too bad they didn't join the communities.
As for the missing Alexandrians (Barbara, Nora, etc.) well we haven't seen them after a major attack on Alexandria that left at least a dozen people dead. While I believe they are alive, best to leave them as unknown until we see them again, whether that's in 10x16 or the first couple episodes of S11. As far as we know, Beta could have killed more people in those houses, the zombified could have killed others in their sleep, etc. We just haven't seen everyone alive yet so we should leave their pages as they are. Bertie, Oscar, and Marco came back in 10x15 so it's possible the other minor named characters will too. Just a waiting game at this point.
