Michonne Hawthorne, better known as Swordmaster, is a character in Image Comics' Solid Blood.
Before "Solid Blood"[]
Nothing is known about Michonne's life prior to the start of the series, except she had a daughter.
Solid Blood[]
At some point, Necromonger, an old enemy of the heroes returned. To keep her daughter safe, Michonne hid Shawna in a bunker with who she thought was Kevin, while she and Bladesmith engaged Necromonger and his zombie forces. Sadly though, Michonne was no match for Necromonger, who proceeded to kill her by crushing her head with his foot.

Michonne's corpse is seen in the aftermath as Necromonger taunts an enraged Bladesmith over her death.

- Kirkman originally planned for Michonne to appear in a different sci-fi zombie book called Dead Planet that was scrapped before The Walking Dead was pitched.
- In Dead Planet, Michonne was originally pitched under the name "Michelle".[1]
