Miles is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a resident of the Hilltop Colony, alongside his wife Hilde.
Overview[]
Miles is a caring and supportive husband to Hilde. He and Hilde are shown to love each other greatly, always making sure to celebrate their anniversaries. He encourages Hilde when she makes a Hilltop coin and tells her to make more. Tragically, while they are happily on their way to the fair, Miles and Hilde are killed and their faces are used by the Whisperers.

At some point in the apocalypse, Miles and Hilde discovered the Hilltop on one of their anniversaries after fighting walkers in the woods. Over the years, they become trusted members of the community.
"The Calm Before"[]
As he and several other Hilltoppers prepare to leave for the fair, Miles kisses his wife and celebrates their anniversary. He comments that the fair attendees will love the handcrafted wooden coins she has made. Unfortunately, while traveling through the woods, the Hilltop caravan was attacked by Alpha and the Whisperers. Miles was killed and his face was skinned and later worn by a Whisperer that night.
