Mississippi Mud are a band in Overkill's The Walking Dead. Although they don't physically appear in the game, their lore items can be found throughout the game and collected by the player.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Prior to the apocalypse, three musicians, Sam, John, and Mike formed a band together called "Mississippi Mud". They signed a label contract with Fat Rabbit Records, guaranteeing $400,000 in payment and a three-album deal.
Post-Apocalypse[]
What happened to the three band members after the apocalypse is unknown, but is presumed they disbanded.
