The Mississippi is the second longest river in United States of America, cutting through ten states.
Post-Apocalypse
When the initial outbreak began, many residents along the riverfront headed to the river and tried to escape on their boats. The U.S. Military blew out many of the bridges along the river to try and contain the infected on one bank.
