Mr. Fischer is one of Greene family neighbors and is also the husband of Mrs. Fischer. He was one of the walkers that were put inside the Greene Family barn.

Almost nothing is known about Mr. Fischer's life before or as the outbreak began except that he was probably friends with Hershel and his family. Otis most likely put him in the barn some time after the outbreak.
Post-Apocalypse
Season 2
"Secrets"
Mr. Fischer is first mentioned by Maggie when she is fighting with Glenn about what to call the Zombies. He is one of the family's neighbors and when he became infected, he was put in Hershel's barn along with his wife and several other zombies.
"Pretty Much Dead Already"
Mr. Fischer was killed along with all the other walkers in the barn when Shane opened the doors and the group of Atlanta Survivors shot everyone that was inside.

It is unknown if Mr. Fischer was bitten by a walker and succumbed to the fever, or died of another cause. Being infected, Hershel places him inside the barn where he becomes a walker.

After Shane forces the barn open, the walkers exit the barn and are systematically gunned down by the group of survivors. Mr. Fischer is among the walkers taken down. It is unknown which survivor actually shot and killed him.
