Here.
―Mrs. Foster offering Mr. Jacobson a drink[src]

Mrs. Foster is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. She lives in the town of Woodbury with her husband and daughter.

Pre-Apocalypse

Location Unknown

Little is known about Mrs. Foster's life before or as the outbreak began, except that she has a husband, a daughter, and a dog who survived along with her. It is possible that she lived in or near Woodbury prior to the outbreak.

Post-Apocalypse

Season 3

"Walk With Me"

She is seen walking around town with her daughter and husband. She and her family also inspect the newly acquired vehicles taken from the National Guard by the Governor and listens to his speech.

"Killer Within"

Mrs. Foster is seen walking in the street with her husband and daughter.

"Say the Word"

Mrs. Foster attends and works at the barbecue with her family handing the residents of Woodbury drinks. She listens to the Governor's toast and then is seen skipping in the streets with her Daughter.

Post-Prison Assault

Following the failed prison assault in "Welcome to the Tombs", Mrs. Foster's fate is unknown; however, she is most likely dead. It is possible she was among the townspeople murdered by The Governor out on the road as she was not seen at the prison with the remaining townspeople.[1]

Death

Killed By

While not seen onscreen it can be assumed that Mrs. Foster was shot to death by the Governor after being forced to retreat from the Prison.

Trivia

  • Mrs. Foster and her family were listed as "Featured Family" in the scripts for the Woodbury scenes in Season 3.
  • Carol Lane Tresan referred to her character in "Say the Word" as the "Sexy Bartender".
  • According to Carol Lane Tresan, who portrays Mrs. Foster, she was taken off the show due to her striking similarity to Sarah Wayne Callies (she also serves as a stand-in for Sarah), who portrayed Lori Grimes, who had died earlier in the season.[2]
