Mythic Allegiances (Road to Survival)

Allegiances are a new trait in The Walking Dead: Road to Survival. They are exclusive to Silver and Gold Mythic characters, and usually relate to a group of characters and how they are related in canon.

Some survivors, such as Garrett, have Mythic Abilities that empower Allegiance-specific characters.

Most allegiances (with a few exceptions) have between 5-6 Gold Mythics, as well as an additional character available from the allegiance's corresponding Mythic Trial. These Mythic Trials require at least 5 Gold Mythic characters of a specific allegiance in order to be fully completed, and reward copies of that allegiances' Mythic Trials character (Ex. Atlanta Mythic Trial giving Lori Grimes, Survivors Mythic Trial giving Morgan, etc.)

Trivia

• There have been a few characters who have had their allegiances changed after release.
  • "Sam and Tom - Messenger for the Commonwealth". They were originally apart of the Militia allegiance.
  • Dario was leaked as "Dario - Road to Survival" and was apart of the Road to Survival allegiance.
  • When the Mythic Trials were first introduced, there was originally a Mythic Trials allegiance meant for the Mythic Trials reward characters. Shortly after the release of Rick 2000, this allegiance was discontinued in favor of making the Mythic Trials reward characters apart of their respective allegiances. The only characters whose allegiances were changed were Lori (to Atlanta), Morgan (to Survivors), and Rick 2000 (to Skybound X). Every Mythic Trials character released since William has kept this change.
• Holiday Heroes are an outlier amongst most Mythic Allegiences.
  • Holiday Heroes are the only alleigence to have 7 main Gold Mythics as opposed to the usual 5-6.
  • Holiday Heroes are the only alleigence without a Mythic Trial, instead having a weapon event called Death's Holiday requiring at least 5 Holiday Heroes alleigence characters to complete.
