This National Guardsman is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a soldier of the U.S. Military.
Pre-Apocalypse

Little was known about the National Guardsman's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he was a soldier in the Army National Guard.
Post-Apocalypse

"Walk With Me"
This National Guardsman was seen with a group of soldiers being approached by the Governor of Woodbury as he set his M4 Carbine assault rifle at the ready. The soldier was greeted by the Governor, who informed the convoy that he had recovered Lieutenant Welles. This guardsman then witnessed the squad leader being shot by the Governor. After the Corporal's murder, he had no time to react as they were ambushed by the Woodbury soldiers.
