Nelson is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a member of the Saviors.

Nothing is known about Nelson's life prior to or as the outbreak began.

Post-Apocalypse

Washington, D.C.

At some point in the apocalypse, Nelson somehow came into contact with a group named the "Saviors," which he subsequently joined.

Nelson aided his group in terrorizing other survivors and communities around the area into submitting to Negan's will, where their victims would be forced to give half their supplies in exchange for not being murdered.

Season 7

"The First Day of the Rest of Your Life"

Nelson is among the Saviors who listen as Negan announces that they are going to war against the Militia.

Season 8

"Mercy"

Nelson is going to his lookout post to switch with another Savior when he is fired upon by Carol and the Kingdommers. He throws a smoke grenade and manages to flee as walkers close in on the survivors.

"The Damned"

Nelson flees from the Kingdommers but is eventually hunted down and mauled by Shiva. However, before his death, he managed to radio rest of the Saviors at the outpost about the incoming attackers.

After escaping a group of Kingdom soldiers following the assault on the Sanctuary, Nelson attempts to flee to one of the Saviors' outposts, but just as the Kingdom soldiers catch up to him, he is mauled to death by Shiva, who was released to hunt him down on Ezekiel's orders.
