New Orleans, commonly referred to as NOLA, is a city in Louisiana and the primary setting of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
New Orleans was the largest city in Louisiana and one of the largest in the U.S., serving as one of it's major ports.
Post-Apocalypse[]
The city was flooded after being hit by a major hurricane two weeks before the outbreak started. As a result, a large cache of supplies that was meant to serve as disaster relief went undistributed, remaining in a military bunker known as the Reserve. The Tower and the Reclaimed, two groups that came to dominate the city since the initial outbreak, periodically fight each other not only for control of the city, but the heavily rumored disaster relief supplies as well.
