- Nom is based on the character of the titular character of the South Korean phone game Nom.
- As confirmed through the "The Walking Dead: All-Stars x Nom" crossover event, Nom is Kwak's favorite game.
- Furthermore, he seems to be a huge contributing factor as to why both the crossover is happening and the game itself is being brought back through Com2Us Studios.
- Interestingly enough, the original Nom game first came out on mobile phones in South Korea in 2003, the same year that the apocalypse began in the Comic Universe and all those that are adapted from it, which includes All-Stars.
- It also came out when Com2uS Holdings, the company that behind All-Stars, used to go by Gamevil Inc.
- As confirmed through the "The Walking Dead: All-Stars x Nom" crossover event, Nom is Kwak's favorite game.
- Nom is the first character to be introduced and released during an update where it is unknown if they will be a playable character or not.
- It's eventually revealed that they are indeed a playable character.
