O'Toole is a survivor of the outbreak in Thomas Dunne Books' The Walking Dead. He is an elderly survivor living in the Tent City.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Location Unknown[]
Not much is known about O'Toole's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he was born in 1924 and was a retired teacher.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Tent City[]
Sometime after the outbreak, O'Toole met up with survivors from the "Tent City". Lilly mentions that he is one of the few people not brought in from the scavenging run by Chad Bingham.
Fate[]
It is unknown what happened to him after the camp was overrun by walkers and engulfed by flames. Lilly's group states that it was very unlikely that anyone survived. It is also possible that he could have been one of the sixteen survivors killed during the second walker attack on the camp. If he did managed to survive the heard, he likely still died of natural causes or was killed not long after escaping due to his old age.
