This oil tanker driver is a character that appears in AMC's Tales of the Walking Dead.
Overview[]
Strangely, throughout the timeloops this man's actions are shown to be inconsistent. Sometimes he won't comply with Gina's demands and will refuse to give up the oil tanker. Other times he will comply and give Gina the keys immediately. Some of this may be due to timing as Gina's second attempt to take the tanker is done much quicker after her arrival at the gas station than the first time, meaning that the driver hasn't gone quite as far into hooking the tanker up yet as he did in the first timeline, making it safer. He is shown to be a very defiant and resistant individual. He seems more annoyed, rather than scared by the fact Gina is pointing a shotgun at him and will even sometimes fight back and go for the shotgun despite the high risk.

Nothing is known about this man's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he was a truck driver for Southfork Oil Company.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Season 1[]
"Blair / Gina"[]
Due to a gas shortage, this man brings an oil tanker to fill up the gas. However, Gina pulls a shotgun on him after seeing an infected man. She orders this man to give her the keys, but he refuses. Leo and Blair try to deescalate the situation. Just then, the man reanimates and bites his wife on the neck, distracting everyone. Leo takes Gina's shotgun and tries to take the oil tanker. Leo and the driver get into a fight which causes Leo to accidentally fire the shotgun, which hits the tanker and blows everyone up.
However, a timeloop happens and they all end up at the gas station once again. Like before, this man drives in with the oil tanker truck. Gina attempts to take the oil tanker once again and this time the man cooperates and uncouples the hose and gives her the keys. He comments that it's too much truck for her. After Gina gets distracted by the zombified man, the driver tries to take Gina's shotgun which prompts her to hit him with the butt of the gun. She apologizes for this before taking the oil tanker.
After another loop happens and the same events occur. This time, while Gina is distracted by the zombified man, he attempts to escape in the truck. However, Gina shoots and accidentally kills the driver with a shot in the cheek. Gina manages to get into the truck, but this man reanimates and bites her.
In the next loop, Gina and Blair get into a fight. Even when being able to drive away scot-free, this man accidentally crashes into a car which causes it to blow up. A montage is then shown of Blair and Gina stealing the oil tanker. After Blair and Gina come to an understanding, Blair doesn't stop Gina from taking the oil tanker and she manages to get away.
In the final loop, both Gina and Blair go up to the driver and ask for the keys. He complies and throws Blair the keys before running away.
His current fate remains unknown.

- Keith Adams also portrayed an unnamed Gearhead in Season 8 of Fear the Walking Dead. It is possible that both characters are the same person as the oil tanker driver survived "Blair / Gina" in Georgia and the Gearhead was also living in Georgia, about 240 miles away from Atlanta.
- Given his experience with driving oil tankers, this man's skills would've made him a good addition to the group which operates oil tankers and a refinery.
