On the same day as Nicholas "Nick" Clark's car accident, this man is brought into the same room on a hospital bed. He begins to make unusual noises, which alarms Nick, having just experienced his first undead encounter with Gloria. Soon after, he flatlines and medical staff respond to the alarms. They spend several moments trying to revive him, to no avail. The now recently deceased man is then immediately taken by Dr. Gould to the hospitals basement, the staff aware of what is happening to those who die, since his brain wasn't destroyed. It's assumed that he most likely turned.

- Andrew Patrick Ralston, who portrays Dr. Adam Gould, confirmed via Twitter that this older man, along with "hundreds" of other hospital patients who died, were being "secretly stored" in the hospitals basement in an effort to contain the virus and avoid panic.[1]
