7 Days to Die[]

7 Days to Die is an early access survival horror video game set in an open world developed by The Fun Pimps. Versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were released in 2016 through Telltale Publishing. Through Telltale involvement came skins of ten characters from The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series, released in two skin packs in 2016.

Brawlhalla[]

Brawlhalla is a free-to-play 2D fighting game created and developed by Blue Mammoth Games and published by Ubisoft. On October 14, 2020, Rick, Daryl, and Michonne were released as skins for Brawlhalla original characters Barraza, Ember, and Koji, respectively. On September 22, 2021, Negan and Maggie were released as skins for Jaeyun and Jhala, respectively. Each skin costs 300 mammoth coins.

Crossover is an American comic book series created by Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw, Dee Cunniffe and John J. Hill, and published by Image Comics.

In 2017, fictional characters from comic books and other media come to life in the real world, and their actions cause a lot of unintentional destruction and death around the city of Denver, Colorado.[2] Five years later, in 2022, several humans and characters join forces and embark on a quest to return to Denver and find out the cause behind "The Event".

In Issue 11 of the series, Negan from Image Comics' The Walking Dead shows up at the end to confront police. In Issue 12, Negan meets Robert Kirkman and kills him for making his life miserable. In Issue 13, Negan is killed after being blasted through the head by a laser.

Fortnite: Battle Royale[]

Fortnite Battle Royale is a free-to-play battle royale video game developed and published by Epic Games. At The Game Awards 2020, a crossover with AMC's The Walking Dead was announced.

With this crossover, Fortnite players have to option to choose skins of iconic The Walking Dead characters, Daryl and Michonne. The two were released on 12/17/2020 as part of Chapter 2 of Season 5. They can be purchased from the Item Shop for 1,800 V-Bucks, or with the Survivors in Arms Bundle for 2,500 V-Bucks. On October 9, 2021, Rick was added to the game for 1,500 V-Bucks.

I Hate Fairyland[]

I Hate Fairyland is a black comedy fantasy comic written and illustrated by Skottie Young, and published by Image Comics, which started publication in October 2015.

October 4, 2017, a special as part of 2017 Free Comic Book Day was published titled I Hate Image Special Edition, featuring the main character of I Hate Fairyland Gertrude invading, and ultimately slaughtering, multiple titles from Image Comics such as Saga, Savage Dragon, Spawn, and more. One of the titles in particular is The Walking Dead, which in this universe is a black and white world overrun by zombies.

In the crossover, Gertrude is chased by zombies and runs into Rick Grimes, Carl Grimes, and Michonne Hawthorne outside the prison. She eventually convinces them to let her use their RV, but after getting surrounded by a Herd, Gertrude sacrifices Rick to the zombies to escapes to the next world.

  • Rick says Carl's name multiple times in a single sentence, which is a reference to how the Rick from the TV Series says Carl's name.
  • A later page in this very comic, features two rats discussing the TV Series, in which one rat asks the other if he saw last night's episode, to which the rat responds "F**k that show! All it does is manipulate us with cheap stunts and unearned deaths, trying to toy with our emotions" "So you loved it?" "Of course".

Invincible[]

Invincible is an American comic book series written by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, illustrated by Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, and published by Image Comics.

On July 27, 2011, Issue 81 of Invincible was released and in it featured cameo appearances from Rick Grimes and Shane Walsh (modeled after Andrew Lincoln and Jon Bernthal respectively) in King County, Georgia (a location in the TV Series), investigating armor from Dinosaurus.

Minecraft[]

Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by the Swedish video game developer Mojang Studios. On July 31, 2013, the XBox 360 edition of Minecraft released a skin pack titled "Skin Pack 5" which included 45 skins. Seven of which are characters from The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series.

The skins of these characters are Lee Everett, Kenny, Omid, Christa, Molly, and two walkers.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile[]

PUBG Mobile is a free-to-play mobile game version of PlayerUnknown's Battleground, an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole. On September 30, 2019, a collaboration between PUBG Mobile and AMC's The Walking Dead.[1]

In this crossover, PUBG Mobile players have new skins to choose from: Rick Grimes, Negan Smith, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne Hawthorne, plus some iconic weapons and items, namely Negan’s baseball bat, Michonne’s katana, and Daryl’s motorcycle.

Poker Night 2[]

Poker Night 2 is a poker video game developed by Telltale Games. It is the sequel to Poker Night at the Inventory and, like its predecessor, features characters from different franchises: Sam & Max, The Venture Bros., The Evil Dead, Borderlands, Portal, etc. Another one of these franchises is The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series. The characters Doug and the Save-Lots Bandits leader Jake, while not playable, make cameo appearances in the opening.

Secret Lair (Magic: The Gathering)[]

Secret Lair, a “sub-brand” of Magic: The Gathering, includes a drop of cards that involves characters from AMC's The Walking Dead.[2] It became available for pre-order purchase from the Wizards of the Coast webshop secretlair.wizards.com from October 4th through October 12th, 2020 for $49.99.

With this crossover, Secret Lair players have the ability to choose from 11 cards featuring characters and walkers from The Walking Dead. The development team felt the collaboration made sense, since zombies were already part of the Magic game. [3]

State of Survival[]

State of Survival x The Walking Dead is collaboration between the zombie mobile game, State of Survival and AMC's The Walking Dead. In collaboration, players of State of Survival can unlock and play as Daryl Dixon to battle the undead.

Tekken 7[]

Tekken 7 is a fighting game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and the ninth installment of the Tekken video game series. At EVO 2018, Negan was announced as part of the second wave of Tekken 7 DLC characters. He was released on February 28, 2019 with Jeffrey Dean Morgan reprising his role as the character.

He was bundled with a stage themed around his origin episode, Last Day on Earth which is surrounded by many unnamed Saviors.

  • Negan was chosen due to Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray being huge fans of The Walking Dead TV Series and due to them thinking he would be a "perfect fit" for Tekken.
  • In the Japanese dub of The Walking Dead, Negan is voiced by Akio Ōtsuka, who voiced Jack-2 in Tekken: The Motion Picture, while also serving as the series' narrator.

Rogue Company is a free-to-play multiplayer tactical third-person hero shooter video game developed by First Watch Games and published by Hi-Rez Studios. The game was released in open beta on October 1, 2020 for Microsoft Windows via the Epic Games Store, Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, with an Xbox Series X/S release following on November 25, 2020, and a PlayStation 5 release on March 30, 2021. The game features full support for cross-platform play and cross-progression. The game takes inspiration from the Counter-Strike series of tactical shooters. The game came out of the Beta on May 23, 2022.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a 2023 first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. It is a sequel to 2022's Modern Warfare II, serving as the third entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series and the twentieth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. The game was released on November 10, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Guns of Boom, known as Gods of Boom from 19 November 2019 until 4 May 2021, is an online multiplayer first-person shooter video game for mobile devices. It was developed by Game Insight and released on 16 May 2017, for iOS and Android. Dying Light 2: Stay Human[]

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is an action survival game.

This crossover was done for The Walking Dead's 20th anniversary. Although no characters crossed over, several items such as Lucille and Rick's hat can be collected in the game. Furthermore; several comic covers, with the The Walking Dead characters being replaced wit the Dying Light characters, can be obtained during the course of the game.
