Park (first name unknown) is a character in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead: Dead in the Water. He is a crew member on the USS Pennsylvania, serving as a corpsman.
Overview[]
Park is a brave and hard-working man who tries his best under harsh conditions. Due to no medavac on the way, Park is forced to perform appendectomy on Friedman. Despite his best efforts, Park ends up dying of appendicitis. He is shown to be devastated by the loss and angered since people don't die of appendicitis anymore. After Friedman reanimates, Park immediately rushes in to help save the cook, but ends up being bitten in the process. Due to not knowing that the bite will make him turn, Park sadly ends up being one of the first to reanimate and attack the rest of the crew. Riley is saddened by his death and puts him down.

"Something Bad"[]
While Renwick is talking with Riley in his room, Bacon enters and informs him that Friedman's condition is worsening and that Park is preparing to perform an appendectomy even though he's never done it before. As Park and his assistant attempt to perform an appendectomy, he shakes his head at Riley, Renwick, and Bacon, signifying it's not going well. The Fentanyl that Friedman is under wears off and he regains consciousness long enough to see his own abdomen cut open. Friedman goes into shock and flatlines, dying despite the best efforts of Park and his assistant. Later, Park is shown to be very distraught about Friedman's death. Riley and Pierce attempt to comfort him. Park questions where was the medevac and that people don't die of appendicitis anymore. He then goes to get cleaned up.
"A Good Sailor"[]
Park is present in the mess hall and listens to Renwick give Friedman's eulogy. Suddenly Cook is attacked by a zombified Friedman. Bacon and Park get Friedman off him and pin him against the wall as his guts spill out. Park is bitten on the arm before Friedman is put down. Renwick tells Park to get patched up and tend to the others.
"Do What Needs Doing"[]
Riley runs into a zombified Park in the kitchen, who is devouring Gonzalez. Riley is saddened by his death and tells Park he doesn't want to do this. Riley slashes Park with a knife but only manages to slice him a little. Riley slams Park's head onto the grill, burning the side of his head. Riley puts his knife on the table and lifts Park's head up, with some of his skin sticking to the grill. Riley slams his head into the knife, putting Park down.
