“ | I was in the dining room dry-canning some beans. When an angel fell from the damn sky and crashed in my backyard. I screamed and ran out there. And there she was, all of 12, a lump on the ground, holding on to a giant lawn umbrella. She had jumped off the roof. Thought the thing would hold her. She broke her arms in two pieces, but she never cried. Charlene embodied the spirit of this place... an always-ready, never-quit, get-it-right-this-time spirit. And she would have... if she wasn't risking her life for the unprepared.

Pat Daley (née unknown), also referred to as Patty, is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. She is a resident of the Broke Jaw Ranch community, alongside her children Charlene and Dax.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Southern California[]
Nothing is known about Pat's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she had two kids, Charlene and Dax, and was friends with the Otto and Trimbol families long enough to have Jake Otto hold the honor of being her daughter's godfather.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Season 3[]
"TEOTWAWKI"[]
Pat is at the memorial service for her daughter and she says a few words about Charlene while holding back her tears. The next morning, she is having breakfast with Vernon as Jeremiah informs the crowd about the missing search party.
"Red Dirt"[]
Pat and her son Dax attempt to remove supplies from the armory and are stopped by Troy. She informs Troy that Jeremiah gave her permission to remove what's hers as she plans to leave the ranch with her son. After learning that the Trimbol family was slaughtered, she decides to stay on the ranch and returns the supplies to the armory.
"The Diviner"[]
At night, Pat is with a group of ranch residents, including Bob, in Jake's house complaining about the rationing of the water, stating that her horses and cattle need at least 5 gallons of water a day. When Alicia interrupts the angry residents, she is able to calm them down by reminding them that Jake is trying to keep the peace despite losing his father and brother. Pat calms down and hugs Jake in gratitude for all he has done.
"This Land Is Your Land"[]
Pat is among the ranchers to evacuate to the underground pantry. As Alicia addresses the crowd regarding those bitten, Dax stands up to sacrifice himself and Pat cries out. Later, Pat is among the survivors to pass out due to the lack of air and eventually dies or is killed by the reanimated residents. Shortly after her death, she reanimates and proceeds to gnaw on Alicia's boot as she is passed out. When Alicia wakes up, she kicks Pat away and proceeds to stab her in the head.
