Annie's Story - Paying A Visit[]
Annie travels from Lake Erie to find her friend Jessica. She eventually reaches Jessica's House, and finds it abandoned. Annie reminisces on how she and Jessica spent their time together before the apocalypse. Suddenly, Phoenix starts to warn Annie that there's danger nearby and she leaves the house.
Survival Records - Proof[]
Annie, Emily, Brody, and Phoenix are out on a supply run when they are attacked by The Raiders. While trying to escape the building they're trapped in, they come across Henry who decided to follow the group to prove he can be useful outside of Asyl, much to the group's annoyance. The group eventually manages to escape the building and admit that Henry was able to fend for himself inside, but that he needs to remember that running into a dangerous situation isn't the best situation given his age and that he'll be able to go on runs when he gets older.
Survival Records - Heading Home[]
The group eventually makes it out of the mansion and must avoid the Raiders as much as they can; however they are eventually surrounded and must fight their way through them to get back to Asyl.
Chapter 35 - The Quickest Way[]
Annie is leader scouting group consisting of herself, Phoenix, Gideon, Rania, Belle, Tylor, and Gunther, who are all trying to meet up with a group on the northside of the city as they are about to fight with a group of Raiders stationed at the Airport. They all discuss how they hope it doesn't turn out into such a huge fight, like what happened during the winter. The group agrees that they got lost on the way, yet they continues on their way to the meet-up spot as they have no other option.
Chapter 36 - Construction Site[]
The group begin to cut through a Construction Site in hopes of meeting up with their people faster. They quickly realize that this is actually a community, with the leader confronting them shortly thereafter. The leader tells the group to leave as he still refuses to join their group. Confused, Gideon states that they're actually from Asyl and are trying to get to a meet-up spot so they can take on the residents of the Airport. The leader says that he was hoping to meet up with Asyl eventually before saying how the Airport Community has warned them about refusing to join again. Suddenly a herd of walker approaches. Although some of the group members object to helping the community clear out the undead, they eventually agree to fight alongside the community. After the fight against the undead, the leader and a few other community members join the scouting group to meet up with the rest of Asyl Scouts that are at the meet up spot.
Chapter 37 - The Terminal[]
The group arrives near the airport, with Gideon stating that they need to get to the control tower specifically. The group discusses how they'll reach the tower due to all the heavy roadblocks and borders in the way, which the Construction Site Leader reveals that he helped build under subjugation of The Raiders. The Leader reveals that the original plan for the Airport was to have members of every nearby community come to live there; however, that was before The Raiders descended down to their more villainous way of life. The Leader then explains that the reason that The Raiders are trying to subjugate the nearby communities again is because of the war that occurred during the winter between The Raiders and Asyl. Eventually the group meets up with Eric's Scouting group. Everyone discusses the upcoming plan of attack.
Chapter 38 - Runway[]
Gideon discusses how they should attack the Airport, yet the Construction Site Leader states that'll only do more harm than good and that he should be the one taking care of any guards, 'lest they start a war with The Raiders. After some time, they notice how many of the Raiders are just unconscious, something that Belle and Zoey wonder if it's something that should be done if they die. Eventually the group reaches the end of the terminal and go in the confront The Raiders.
Chapter 39 - Bad Jokes[]
On the cusp of meeting the Airport's leader, the group debates over who should speak to him, with the Construction Site Leader taking the charge at the end given that he knows the man. Despite this, they are turned away by a guard. The group decides to enter the building though another entrance that's less guarded. Eventually they get inside. The group beings to wonder what'll happen if they Raiders refuse to comply, thus reinforcing the fact that they should be prepared for whatever happens next.
