Pont de la Tournelle is a location in France that appears in AMC's The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

Pre-Apocalypse

Paris, Île-de-France

The location of the Pont de la Tournelle is the site of successive structures. The first, a wooden bridge, was built in 1620. This bridge connected the Eastern bank of the Seine (le quai Saint-Bernard) to l'île Saint-Louis. It was subsequently washed away by ice in 1637, and again on 21 January 1651. A stone bridge was erected in its place in 1654. It was demolished in 1918 and replaced by the current bridge in 1928, after it suffered several natural disasters, especially the flood of 1910.

Post-Apocalypse

Season 1

"Paris Sera Toujours Paris"

Daryl's group walks across the bridge. Daryl notices the Power of the Living's slogan spray painted on one of the cares and asks Isabelle about it, which she explains its meaning to him.

"La Dame de Fer"

Daryl crosses the bridge by himself in the opposite direction while looking for Isabelle after having escaped from his predicament.

Later, Azlan meets Daryl, Isabelle, Laurent, Sylvie and Fallou at the bridge to transport the boy to the Nest in his boat.
