Pre-Apocalypse[]
Black Hat Reservation[]
Little is known about this man's life, other than he was Qaletaqa's uncle and grew up on the Black Hat Reservation in southern California. At some point, the natives on the reservation came into conflict with members of Broke Jaw Ranch. During a land dispute, Qaletaqa's uncle and a few others would vandalize the ranch. One night, however, he and two other delinquents were caught by Jeremiah Otto and a few of his friends. Instead of being handed over to the police, however, they were murdered by Jeremiah and the ranchers, and their bodies were buried under the old adobe on the ranch property. The murders were never investigated by the police.
