This Reaper is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a member of the Reapers and served as the primary antagonist of the episode "Home Sweet Home".
Overview[]
This man is shown to be one of the most lethal and deadly members of the Reapers. Like the rest of the Reapers, he is highly skilled in combat due to his military training, which makes him an extremely dangerous individual. After being sent by Pope to take out Maggie's people by himself, this Reaper single-handedly kills at least 6 members of her group. His methods of killing can be quite brutal such as, burning down the rendezvous the group was staying in, killing Jen and Billy. He is a skilled sniper, killing at least four members with it. He is also quite crafty and calculating, shooting Ainsley in the stomach to lure the group out into the open, which works on Maya. Though he is outnumbered, he holds his own extremely well. He is shown to have a very high tolerance to pain, to the point of shrugging off a knife stab and pulling it out to use as a weapon. Even after being shot twice by arrows, he still perseveres.
Eventually Maggie and her group manage to surround the Reaper. Maggie furiously questions him about him and his people. He shows no remorse for killing Maggie's friends and has a somewhat smug attitude. He doesn't give any information and shows no fear for his life, despite Maggie's threats of killing him if he doesn't answer. Instead, he shows that he'd rather die than answer to her. He ominously states that "Pope marked you," before pulling a pin off a grenade to kill himself and an attempt to take Maggie and her group with him. This man is a prime example of how skilled the Reapers are, and how deadly they can truly be.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Afghanistan[]
Prior to the outbreak, this man was fighting in Afghanistan along with the rest of his squad which included a lot of members that would eventually become the Reapers. Upon returning from war, he struggled to find jobs or deal with trauma, but the relationship between him and his comrades remained strong. He then decided to become a mercenary.
Post-Apocalypse[]
During the beginning of the outbreak, as Operation Cobalt was put into action in an attempt to try and contain the undead threat, Pope and a group of his people managed to escape the bombings by running until they reached an abandoned church, where inside Pope was amazed to see none of them had been killed or injured, leading him to view him and his comrades as "the chosen ones". It is unknown if this Reaper was present during this revelation. Regardless, he eventually joined the Reapers, and presumably either found or crafted his own mask to use as a scare tactic against those who were "marked" by Pope.
Tennessee[]
At some point, this Reaper and his group eventually attacked a group of survivors led by Maggie Rhee despite having no previous hostilities with her group and succeeded in destroying their camp and killing numerous members of her group, causing them to flee to Virginia. He and his group eventually followed them to finish them all off due to his leader, Pope marking Maggie's group.
Season 10[]
"Home Sweet Home"[]
This man is responsible for killing Maggie's group, including Gus and Ainsley. He takes a shot at Daryl's group, also killing Maya. He lunges at Maggie with a knife, but she dodges and stabs him in the chest. Despite this, he shrugs off the injury, pushes her to the ground, and pulls the knife from his chest. He tries to kill Maggie by throwing the knife, but she ducks out of the way in time. As he advances towards her, Maggie backs up into a trap and is strung up on a tree. Before he can kill her, Daryl shoots him in the side with his crossbow, before charging him. He once again shrugs off the injury and effortlessly tosses Daryl into a tree, knocking him out. Fortunately, this buys Maggie enough time to free herself. Just as she is about to face him once more, Kim and another Warden arrive and shoot him in the chest with an arrow, and the Reaper is quickly surrounded by Kelly, Elijah, Cole, and the remaining members of Maggie's group. Maggie furiously questions him about his identity and his group, but he says nothing. Maggie threatens to kill him, as she knows he is alone, and inquires about his motive for attacking the group. The Reaper calmly tosses his weapon to the ground and simply says "Pope marked you", before pulling a pin from a grenade and blowing himself up as the others dive for cover.

Trivia[]
- This character is credited as The Attacker in "Home Sweet Home".
- This Reaper is the first member of the Reapers to appear and to be killed.
- This Reaper is one of three Reapers to not be seen with a Reaper mask, the others being Pope and Mancea.
- Mike Whinnet also portrayed an unnamed Savior in Season 7. His character was not seen killed off in the All Out War up until the end of Season 8, suggesting his character may have survived and over time joined the Reapers. This is unlikely, however, seeing as how most, if not all, of the Reapers aside from Daryl knew each other before the apocalypse.
