- "What will happen to my son?"
- —The woman after being denied entry to the hotel. (Translated from Spanish)[src]
Nothing is known about this woman's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she lived in Baja California, Mexico. She is described as a woman who grew up on a ranch raising cows and horses and has always worked hard in her responsibilities. However, she still lived a life with very little income and was forced to choose to marry the man who she loved or the man chosen to provide for her. At some point in her life, she gave birth to her son, whom she loves very much and will do anything to protect.
This woman and her family are among the 43 refugees to arrive at the hotel after witnessing the hotel lights illuminate in the distance after Madison turned the power on. She pleads to be let into the hotel and asks what will happen to her son if they are turned away. Eventually, the refugees are brought to the parking garage to be screened.
This woman is among the crowd of angry refugees who are upset that Brandon and Derek are getting preferential treatment. She questions why hasn't her husband's foot been looked at before treating the Americans. She follows everyone outside to the front gates as the two American men are kicked out of the hotel community.
It is unknown what happened to this refugee after the Rosarito Beach Hotel was overrun, as the front gates were found breached and the hotel grounds filled with blood and the undead. While the fate of this woman remains unknown, it is possible she was able to escape, make it to a higher floor, or was killed.
