This article is about the Video Game character. You may be looking for the criminal.

Look, the fact is, Bill had every reason to kill me when I helped you guys... but he didn't. Obviously I don't know what happened while you all were gone, but he's given me a second chance and I know he'd do the same for you.
―Reggie to the group about Carver.[src]

Reggie, formerly known as Rajeev, is an original character who appears in "In Harm's Way" of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: Season Two. He is a member of Carver's Group that helped the cabin group escape from Howe's Hardware, but he was placed in the pen after he failed to escape with them.

Pre-Apocalypse

India

Very little is known about Reggie's life prior to or as the outbreak began. He tells the group that he immigrated to America from India before the outbreak. He also speaks of how he got his name before the outbreak; a coffee shop barista misheard his name as Reggie as he was ordering a drink. The name stuck to him and he eventually had it legally changed.

Post-Apocalypse

Howe's Hardware

Nothing is known about his life when he was with William Carver's community back in the day, before he, and the rest of the cabin group decided to leave after the disagreements between Luke and Carver about how they should run things in the community. The conflict between Carver and Rebecca emerged and made things worse. They soon escaped from the community. However, when he and the others were running away from the community, he accidentally fell, and was left behind. It is assumed that he got captured by Carver, and being put in the pen, along with Jane and Mike.

One day, Carver ordered Reggie to do work outside of the community walls. Unbeknownst to him, a walker snuck up on him, and bit his arm. Mike, in order to save his life, killed the walker and hacked Reggie's left arm off, thus making Reggie an amputee.

Season 2

"In Harm's Way"

Reggie is the first person who the cabin survivors meet when they are taken out to the yard by Troy. The group notices his missing arm and they express their guilt for what happened to him. He then explains that he lost his arm because a walker bit him while working on the wall and his arm was quickly taken off by Mike, claiming that it seemed like Mike did it before. Sarah mentions to Clementine that he helped them to previously escape from Carver's camp, but Reggie himself couldn't leave because he fell and the group left him behind. Kenny will later distract Reggie by talking to him, allowing Clementine to be able to look around the yard. If Clementine touches things, Reggie will kindly ask Clementine to stop. If Clementine tries to open the gate, Troy will come in and criticize Reggie.

The next day, Clementine and Sarah meet him at the greenhouse on the roof to pick berries. Reggie tells them how to do it, and Clementine has the option to either help Sarah or do her own work. When Carver comes, he blames Reggie for the lack of progress if either Clementine didn't do her work by helping Sarah or if Sarah didn't pick the berries correctly. If Clementine states it was her fault or that Sarah didn't understand, Carver brushed this off, saying "it aint your fault". He tells the girls to wait outside while he talks with Reggie. Moments later, the two come out and Reggie pleads for forgiveness as he is backed up across the roof. Carver simply tells him he's given him plenty of chances, glares at him and proceeds to push him off the roof to his death.

Death

  • William Carver
  • Sarah (Indirectly Caused)
  • Clementine (Indirectly Caused)

Reggie is pushed off the roof as punishment for his "weakness" and "incompetence" by William Carver after Sarah either cause Clementine to go help her do the job, or try doing so, but fails, causing in any case, the jobs to not be finished.

Killed Victims

This list shows the victims Reggie has killed:

  • Possibly numerous counts of zombies

Relationships

Clementine

It's very nice to meet you, Clementine.
―Reggie to Clementine as they introduce themselves. (Determinant)[src]

Clementine is initially cautious about Reggie, with the option of asking Sarah whether she trusts him. When they first meet, Clementine has the option to tell him her name, and Reggie will happily shake her hand, commenting it was nice meeting her. As the two get to know one another, they build a friendship. When Clementine and Sarah are about to pick the berries, Reggie pats Clementine on the head for understanding that he has to do his own work. However, Reggie feels awkward about this immediately afterwards. After Carver asks the girls to wait outside, Reggie thanks them for their help in a sad tone. As Reggie is pushed off the roof by Carver, Clementine appears saddened and shocked by the sudden death of Reggie by Carver. This sadness and shock turns into anger, and later on in the episode Clementine has the option of being hostile towards Carver for killing him.

Luke

Reggie and Luke have known each other during their time in Howe's and are on good terms. Their relationship had improved when Reggie helped Luke and the cabin survivors escape Carver's camp. When the group is recaptured and sent back to Howe's, they are greeted by Reggie. The cabin survivors show concern and guilt for leaving him behind, though Reggie assures them that it was his choice to help them. It is assumed that Luke was saddened to learn of Reggie's death when the group told him so off-screen.

Peter Joseph Randall

Oh.. okay. Good. What about Pete?
―Reggie asking about Pete.[src]

Reggie and Pete have known each other during their time in Howe's and were on good and friendly terms. Their relationship had been improved when Reggie helped Pete and the cabin survivors escape Carver's camp. When the group is recaptured and sent back to Howe's, they are greeted by Reggie. Reggie, who hadn't been told of Pete's fate yet, asked where he was. After seeing the group's sorrowful faces, he construed Pete had died, and became saddened.

Nick

It's my fault.
―Nick to Reggie. (Determinant)[src]

Reggie and Nick have known each other during their time in Howe's and were on good and friendly terms. Their relationship had been improved when Reggie helped Nick and the cabin survivors escape Carver's camp. When the group is recaptured and sent back to Howe's, they are greeted by Reggie. When Nick attempts to take fault for Reggie losing his arm, he quickly reassures him it isn't his fault. If Nick died, Reggie will learn about his death, saying he was always taking risks and becomes saddened afterwards.

Carlos

Where's Carlos?
―Reggie asking the group where Carlos is.[src]

Reggie and Carlos have known each other during their time in Howe's and were on good and friendly terms. Their relationship had been improved when Reggie helped Alvin and the cabin survivors escape Carver's camp. When the group is recaptured and sent back to Howe's, they are greeted by Reggie. The others show concern and guilt for leaving him behind, though Reggie assures them that it was his choice to help them. Reggie notices that Carlos is absent and asks where he is, but is relieved when he is told that he was called away to fix his fingers. The next day, Reggie is shown to be sorry towards Carlos, who is forced by Carver to smack Sarah for talking during his speech.

Sarah

Hey, so... Is she gonna be okay? 'Cause what happened down there... That was straight fucked up. I don't want her freaking out and getting me in trouble.
―Reggie to Clementine about Sarah.[src]

Reggie and Sarah have known each other during their time in Howe's and were on good and friendly terms. Their relationship had been improved when Reggie helped Sarah and the cabin survivors escape Carver's camp. When the group is recaptured and sent back to Howe's, they are greeted by Reggie. Sarah tells Clementine that Reggie was kind towards her group and that she is grateful towards him for helping them escape. Reggie appears to be worried for Sarah's mental state after Carlos is forced to smack her, and tells Clementine to keep an eye on her. However, he also selfishly wants her to pull herself together so she doesn't get him in trouble. Due to her being unable to complete her work, Carver, thinking that Reggie is incapable in leading others, pushes him off the roof, an event that frightens Sarah.

Rebecca

Your family is safer here.
―Reggie to Rebecca about her wanting to leave Carver's camp. (Determinant)[src]

Reggie and Rebecca have known each other during their time in Howe's and were on good and friendly terms. Their relationship had been improved when Reggie helped Rebecca and the cabin survivors escape Carver's camp. When the group is recaptured and sent back to Howe's, they are greeted by Reggie. When they see Reggie, Rebecca immediately embraces him. Rebecca appears apologetic to Reggie as soon as she notices his arm is missing, and Reggie responds to her apology by saying it was his choice to help them escape. However, when Reggie explains how life "isn't so bad" at Howe's, Rebecca seems to be angry at him.

Alvin

Look, it was my choice to help you guys.
―Reggie to the group.[src]

Reggie and Alvin have known each other during their time in Howe's and were on good and friendly terms. Their relationship had been improved when Reggie helped Alvin and the cabin survivors escape Carver's camp. When the group is recaptured and sent back to Howe's, they are greeted by Reggie. Alvin and the others show concern and guilt for leaving him behind, though Reggie assures them that it was his choice to help them. (Determinant)

Kenny

Man... fuck that guy. I don’t think we can trust him. Clearly he’s already drank too much of the kool-aid.
―Kenny to Clementine about Reggie.[src]

After being sent to live at the pen, Kenny and Reggie are shown to be friendly towards one another as they are shown greeting one another. Reggie warmly welcomes Kenny and the others to life at Howe's. Kenny disagrees with Reggie's view of Howe's being a safe community, not trusting him and thinking he is a "weirdo". However, if Clementine mentions that Reggie had just died when Kenny and Mike are fighting, the two cease fighting and Kenny appears to be saddened and shocked of his death.

Sarita

Hello.
―Sarita greeting Reggie.[src]

After being sent to live at the pen, Sarita and Reggie are shown to be friendly towards one another as they are shown greeting one another. Reggie warmly welcomes Sarita and the others to life at Howe's. If Clementine tries to open the gate in the pen that leads outside, Troy will arrive and scold Reggie for not keeping an eye on Clementine. Sarita defends Reggie, and states that he was only trying to help.

Mike

That's Mike. He's kind of a dick when he is tired, but as I said he saved my life...
―Reggie to Clementine about Mike.[src]

Mike and Reggie have known each other during their time in Howe's, but did not interact much. When the group arrives at Howe's, they talk with Reggie, which disturbs Mike from his sleep. Mike tells the group to be quiet, and Reggie introduces him to the others, saying that he can be a "dick" at times, but is grateful towards him for amputating his arm in time when Reggie was bitten by a walker. Later on, Mike and Kenny have a fight, where Clementine can intervene and tell them about Reggie's death, which saddens Mike.

Jane

Okay, so she's fuckin' weird. They found her sneaking around outside of the camp covered in guts and just, like, the grossest shit.
―Reggie about Jane to the rest of the group.[src]

Reggie is scared of Jane. The two are not seen interacting, but Reggie relates the story of how she got into the camp with a tone of slight fear. He doesn't really understand what it was she was doing covered in guts, but it gives him a degree of respect and wariness of her.

William Carver

Now, you might not believe this after what happened earlier, but... I liked Reggie. He was a funny guy. He kept things light. You need folks like that... it's easy to let depression sink in during times like this. But he was weak. And I don't mean just 'cause he was maimed, that wasn't his problem. He was weak of will. Weak of character. And we can't have that around here... not anymore. Not with what we got at stake. You have to be able to contribute...
―Carver to Clementine detailing why he killed Reggie and subtly warning her not to make Reggie's "mistakes".[src]

Reggie, like all inhabitants of the pen, is extremely fearful of Carver. However, after Bill decided not to kill him after he tried to escape with the cabin group, Reggie gained some respect and admiration for him and his goal of building a safe and self-sufficient community, despite the work mostly being performed by veritable slave labor. He expresses to the group that he thinks he's very close to being forgiven by Carver and let back into the main camp, and therefore doesn't want them to make any trouble. Later, when he is working with Clementine and Sarah in the greenhouse, Reggie exhibits his true fear of Carver when he comes in to check on their progress. When Bill questions why all of the work wasn't done, Reggie is scared beyond his ability to think clearly and starts stuttering excuses. He eventually comes to terms with the fact that he won't be able to wriggle his way out of taking responsibility for the girls' actions, and prepares to defend himself to Carver. However, he is caught unaware when Bill pushes him out of the greenhouse, and desperately pleads with him before being unceremoniously dumped off the edge of the building by the ruthless leader.

Troy

Don't go fuckin' up now. Bill's real close to lettin' you outta here. You make sure things stay nice and quiet out here tonight, and I'll be sure to let Bill know just how helpful you were.
―Troy to Reggie.[src]

Reggie is fearful of Troy, given his position as one of Carver's most trusted guards. He tries to get on Troy's good side so he can tell Carver how much of an improvement he's made, and get let out of the yard. If Clementine tries to open the gate, Troy will come in and insult Reggie for not doing his job. Later, when Reggie was killed, Troy didn't seem to care about it and after Clementine finds Reggie's body outside of the store, Troy quickly tells her it's not her concern and move on.

Tavia

Don't mess this up. Reggie's in charge here, okay? Listen to him carefully.
―Tavia to Reggie, Clementine and Sarah.[src]

While not seen interacting much , Tavia and Reggie seem to have a stable relationship. After escorting Reggie to the greenhouse, Tavia tells Reggie not to mess up, showing that she knows of his past mistakes in the community, and tells Clementine and Sarah to obey him. While talking to Hank via walkie-talkie, Tavia appears to be saddened about his death, and did not think Carver was going to let him back in the main group.

Hank

It's crazy about Reggie, huh?
―Hank to Tavia about Reggie.[src]

While not seen interacting, it seems Hank and Reggie have a stable relationship. While talking to Tavia via walkie-talkie, Hank appears to be saddened about his death, and did not think Carver was going to let him back in the main group.
