"Take Us Back"
Rodney appeared in the flashback of the events at the McCarroll Ranch. After Clementine arrives to the ranch with her horse, an injured and incapacitated Rodney spots her. He mistakes her for one of the attackers and opens fire, killing her horse. Using the horse's body as cover, Clementine manages to shoot Rodney in the neck, mortally wounding him. Clementine approaches and attempts to interrogate him for AJ's location, but he defiantly gives her a middle finger in response. She can then choose to execute Rodney, or leave him to bleed out.
In-Game Decision
Execute Rodney (Dead): If Clementine decides to execute Rodney, she will shoot him in the head.
Leave Him to Bleed Out (Undead): If Clementine doesn't execute Rodney, she will leave him to bleed out from his wounds, and he eventually reanimates.
