This is the Starter Set for the official The Walking Dead Universe Roleplaying Game. In this game you will play as people struggling to survive in an unforgiving world. Exceptional challenges can appear from anywhere - from the lack of essential supplies, from conflicts brewing within the group, from hidden construction flaws in your safe haven, or from approaching walkers hungering for your flesh.

Fight the dead, fear the living!

The Wolves' Den[]

Included within the set is a 20-page booklet that lays out a survival mode, designed to be played without much preparation. This survival mode follows Hart's Group, led by Cecil/Cecilia Hart, who are tracking down two members of their group who fled with most of their supplies. However, they will soon realise that the couple who stole from them have been captured by a hostile group known as the Wolves and taken to the recently destroyed enclave of Evergreen.

Starter Set Rules[]

A condensed rule book is also included within the starter set, although a more substantial book was released that goes into further detail. The rule book aims to give a brief but concise overview of how the RPG functions and operates. It also includes roleplaying examples from Hannah and her group.

Maps[]

Within the Starter Set is a double-sided area map in format 558 mm x 432 mm, depicting an area north of Atlanta, Georgia. This map can be used by players in their own campaign mode, but it is also designed to be used in the Atlanta Campaign found within the Roleplaying Core Rules book. Another double-sided area map in format 558 mm x 432 mm is also included, this one depicting a region of Virginia. This map currently has no connected pre-generated campaign mode but can be used by players in their own custom campaigns.
