Rory Thorndyke is a survivor of the outbreak in Thomas Dunne Books' The Walking Dead. He is described as a former bricklayer from Augusta with tree-trunk arms emblazoned with naval tattoos and hard gristly muscles, garbed in a stained wifebeater T-shirt.

Like a lot of others, Rory leaves the camp with his family after the arrival of Reverend Garlitz, main reason being him torturing Scorpion members. Rory's fate remains unknown, as well as his family's.
