Ryan was among a group of survivors leading an incoming herd away from their camp. Until all of a sudden, one of the camp survivors began to panic, causing them to begin shooting into the herd. As a result, Ryan was bitten.
- Jody (Zombified)
After Ryan was bitten, Jody rescued him and began her amputation procedure. Unfortunately, before she was able to amputate, Ryan reanimated and attacked her. Afterwards, Jody put him down.
