Sabina James is a character in AMC's The Walking Dead: World Beyond. She is a student at Hvass High School.

Pre-Apocalypse

Iowa

Sabina grew up in Iowa and attended Hvass High School as a teenager. She had an average life as a teenage girl and had a crush on a boy who seemed to like her as well. Her photo was then taken during this exchange by a member of the high school yearbook committee and was later published in the yearbook. Sabina was labeled in the yearbook as most likely to "march to the beat of her own drum", indicating she was unique and independent.

Post-Apocalypse

Hvass High School

In the fall of 2010, the outbreak went global. While preparing for the Sadie Hawkins Dance at her school, the undead began to overrun the area. Sabina and several other students relocated to the school's fallout shelter built during the Cold War. At some point, however, something went wrong with someone removing all of the signs indicating that there was a fallout shelter, and the people taking shelter ended up as walkers, many of whom were trapped in the shelter's lockers, including Sabina.

Season 1

"The Wrong End of a Telescope"

As Iris looks at a yearbook in the auditorium of Hvass High School, she finds a picture of Sabina James smiling with the caption reading "too cool for school". As she gazes upon the picture of Sabina, she imagines the auditorium filled with students and Sabina walking in and exchanging smiles with another student, in which a fellow student snaps a photo of Sabina that is later used in the yearbook.

After the Endlings find themselves in the school's fallout shelter, they find several zombies in the shelter, one of them being Sabina, who had sought refuge in the school when the outbreak started. Sabina was put down along with the other former survivors of the shelter by Felix, to which Iris sadly gazes upon seeing the girl's vibrant pink hair.
