Sandra, also referred to by her screen name "USHLDBSCRD" ("You should be scared"), is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Tales of the Walking Dead. She served as the primary antagonist of the episode "Evie / Joe".
Overview[]
Similar to Joe, Sandra is a prepper who has been preparing for the end of the world her whole life. She is so adamant on it she put herself in debt to build a "platinum bunker". Sandra, like Joe, has stated to be a loner, since her husband had passed away, and people thought she was crazy. Sandra and Joe had met on the internet and grew very close since they were the only two who understood each other. However, when Sandra wanted to meet Joe in real life, Joe didn't answer. In the apocalypse, after the death of his dog, Gilly, Joe decides to go find Sandra.
After a long journey, Joe eventually makes it to Sandra's bunker. Sandra's bunker is shown to be decked out, with her even having a security camera and a door that opens and closes by itself. When Joe finally meets Sandra for the first time in person, she seems to be a friendly and pleasant individual, and is seemingly very excited to meet Joe. She offers Joe a brownie and is very hospitable with him.
However, Sandra's friendly nature is later revealed to be a ruse, and she is actually a psychopathic, mentally unstable, unhinged, and bloodthirsty killer who lures people into her bunker to be killed. Sandra had become this way after a man had broken into her bunker and tried to kill her and steal the bunker. She ended up killing the man and afterwards became cynical and untrusting of others. Despite Joe having good intentions and not coming off as hostile in any way, Sandra assumes the worst of him and thinks that he is there to take the bunker from her. Overtime, Sandra has seemingly lost any semblance of sanity and is extremely sadistic when it comes to killing her victims. When trying to kill Joe, she takes her time, slicing his throat in a non-lethal area so he can bleed out and even puts on clown makeup as if she is playing a character.
When Evie arrives, Sandra immediately wipes off the clown makeup to make herself look presentable to her. She attempts to do the same thing as she did to Joe, giving her the same drugged brownie, as though it's a routine for her. However, Evie sees through Sandra's lies and manages to fight back. After Evie frees Joe, Sandra charges at the two. Joe throws a cleaver at Sandra, stabbing her in the chest, being killed by the person who was once her closest friend.
Pre-Apocalypse[]

Not much is known about Sandra's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she lived near Mount Pleasant, Michigan and was married to Tom, who later passed away. She was also an avid doomsday prepper who shared an online friendship with Joe. Sometime before Tom's passing, she upgraded to a "platinum bunker", much to his disapproval.
Post-Apocalypse[]
During the first few months of the outbreak, Sandra lived in the bunker near her home and was often met with survivors banging on her door, pleading for refuge. She drowned out the pleads and screams with music, until a hostile intruder broke in one day and she was forced to kill him. She took the intruder's wristwatch as a memento and entered a crazed-like state, luring in and murdering other survivors to add more watches to her collection. Overtime, Sandra's stability continued to deplete, becoming increasingly delusional and experiencing hallucinatory episodes over the next year.
Season 1[]
"Evie / Joe"[]
After Joe throws a temper tantrum due to his declining mental state, he finds a box with messages he and Sandra had sent to each other before the outbreak. Joe reads through the messages until he gets to the part where she talks about meeting with him in person. Joe was initially hesitant before the outbreak, but now curses himself for being a coward. Joe packs his stuff and sets out on a journey to find her.
Later, Evie manages to figure out Sandra's location. Joe shows her a photo of Sandra with a wagon he helped her decide on.
Joe eventually finds Sandra's bunker. She opens remotely opens the door to let him in. Joe walks down the hallway and sees Sandra watching him come down the stairs. The two excitedly greet each other. Sandra aids Joe in walking through the bunker since he had injured his leg. Sandra feeds Joe a brownie and talks about how happy she is that Joe found her. Joe opens up to her and talks about the death of Gilligan, whom Sandra remembers. Sandra asks if Joe is staying for the night and tells him she is going to freshen up.
Joe's vision starts to go blurry, revealing the brownie to be drugged. Sandra starts putting on clown makeup as Joe becomes more and more delusional. Sandra states she wishes she had met Joe before the outbreak before tying him up and cuts his throat with a knife. Sandra interrogates Joe on why he went on this way to find her. Joe states it was to find her, but Sandra yells at him saying, "I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!" before cutting his throat again.
Sandra explains what had happened to her since the outbreak. She often had people knocking on her door, but she ignored them. However, one day a man broke in and was going to take the bunker and kill her. Sandra was forced to kill him which caused her descent into madness. Sandra goes to kill Joe, but her knife hits his necklace. Joe fights back but Sandra subdues him. Right before she can finish him off, the alarms go off. Sandra looks and sees Evie at the entrance. Sandra accuses Joe of wanting to take the place for him and Evie before tying him up to a pole. She wipes the makeup off her face to give herself a presentable appearance.
Sandra opens the door of the bunker and invites Evie in, putting on a very inviting and friendly persona. Sandra gives her the drugged brownie, which Evie pretends to take a bite of. Evie asks about Joe, and Sandra pretends not to have seen him. Evie sits down and Sandra prepares to kill her. However, Evie calls Sandra out on her lies, calling it shady to give food to someone without asking. Sandra takes out her knife, but Evie uses her fighting skills to overpower her. As Evie frees Joe, Sandra charges at them yelling maniacally. Joe throws the cleaver at Sandra, which hits her in the chest, killing her. As Joe, Evie, and Skipper exit the bunker, a now reanimated Sandra walks over to them. They almost make it out but Sandra grabs Evie's foot. Joe closes the door on Sandra's hand, causing her to lose her grip on Evie.
