This article is about the Alexandria supply runner in the Comic Series. You may be looking for his TV Series counterpart, the assault character or the Woodbury survivor.

Swear, some days-- Wish it was a walker that got me. Woulda been faster.
―Scott to Heath about dying.[src]

Scott is a character first encountered in Issue 69 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead and is a supply runner for the Alexandria Safe-Zone and the best friend of Heath.

Pre-Apocalypse

Location Unknown

Nothing is known about Scott's life before or as the outbreak began. It is likely that he lived in Alexandria before the outbreak started, as he is selected to be one of the Safe-Zone runners for his speed and knowledge of the surrounding areas.

Post-Apocalypse

Life Among Them

Scott broke his leg during a supply run. When he and Heath jumped from a rooftop, he landed hard, awkwardly. They launched a call for help by shooting a flare from inside the city. This was witnessed by Rick Grimes' group, who were, by this time, in Aaron's company. With their combined assistance, Scott was moved back into the Safe-Zone.

Too Far Gone

While impressed that Rick and his group survived on their own for so long, he was also suspicious of them. He and Heath appear to be close friends, and Heath harbors strong feelings of guilt regarding Scott's accident. Until Scott fully healed, leader Douglas Monroe decided that Glenn will take his place as a supply runner.

Death

Killed By

  • Infection
  • Michonne (Before Reanimation)

Although Scott had proper medical care, an antibiotic-resistant infection eventually killed him during a visit from Heath. Michonne hammered a nail through his head to prevent reanimation.

Killed Victims

This list shows the victims Scott has killed:

  • Possibly numerous counts of zombies.

Relationships

Heath

Scott was Heath's best friend. Heath was ready to pick him up some antibiotics, which Scott needed. Heath is seen crying after his death, and demands that they have a funeral so that Scott's heroic nature would be remembered. After Douglas agrees to this, due to the death of his wife, the group holds the funeral, to which Heath highlights his best friend's importance to himself and the community. During the burial, he asks those carrying Scott to be careful with the body.
