Vanaman's video game career began with his interning at Buena Vista Games (which later became Disney Interactive) while going to University of Southern California in the early 2000s. After graduating, he continued to work at Disney Interactive until he joined Telltale Games in 2008. Sean worked on many of their properties before The Walking Dead, including Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, Tales of Monkey Island, Puzzle Agent, and Poker Night at the Inventory.
