Season 11 is the upcoming final season of AMC's The Walking Dead. On October 5, 2019, AMC announced the show was renewed for an eleventh season.[1] Angela Kang will continue as showrunner for the third and last consecutive season. On September 9, 2020, AMC announced that Season 11 will be extended to 24 episodes and will also be the final season of the series.[2]
This season will adapt material from Issues #169-193 of the Comic Series.

- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AMC delayed the pre-production of this season.[5]
- This season will be extended with an additional eight episodes, upping the episode count from 16 to 24.[6]
