Season 3 is the upcoming third season of AMC's The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.[2]

Plot[]

Season three tracks Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) as they continue their journey towards home and the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands[3] with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.[4]

In February 2024, Scott Gimple confirmed a third season for the show.[2]

In June 2024, Norman Reedus confirmed that production for Daryl Dixon is moving to Spain for Season 3.[5]

Production for this season began in August 2024.[6]

Casting[]

On September 2, 2024, the casting of Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay, Candela Saitta and Hugo Arbués was announced.[7]

On September 26, it was announced that Cuco Usín, Gonzalo Bouza, Greta Fernández, Hada Nieto, Stephen Merchant, Yassmine Othman, Irina Björklund, Armando Buika, Javier Taboada, Boré Buika, Anna Gras, Claudio Bandini, Pedro Bachura and Elena Sándell joined the cast.
