Seth Geary is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. He is the oldest son of George Geary and Melissa, and the older brother of Harry and Willa.
Overview[]
The oldest son of the Gearys, Seth is a caring brother to his siblings along with being brave but also hot-headed. He generally seems to be very independent, usually off doing his own thing. His parents don't seem to mind too much and trust he'll be okay. When Chris follows him, it's revealed he often has to put down walkers at the fence. It's his job to put the walkers down every day, something he seems to have gotten used to, showing he's not opposed to getting his hands dirty. However, according to his mother, Seth and his father, George, plan on having the whole family die together by using suicide pills. After the death, of his sister and mother, Madison's group takes Harry with them under George's wishes. He goes onboard their ship and holds everyone at gunpoint, taking Harry back with him onto the island. He is shown to be completely loyal to his father, believing what he'd want is to keep Harry on the island, unaware that George changed his mind. Seth is shown to be willing to kill others if it means saving his family. After getting him back on land, Seth is forced to put down his reanimated mother.
Pre-Apocalypse[]

Not much is known about Seth's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he was born in 1993, had been trained "to survive" by his father, and that he has lived on Catrina Island for all of his life.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Season 2[]
"We All Fall Down"[]
Seth was out somewhere on the island when the The Abigail docked. He makes a brief appearance, saying hello to Madison, before disappearing again. He is not seen again until the following day, when he shows Chris how to kill walkers with a pickaxe. He invites Chris to take a swing. Chris kills an infected with the pickaxe. Seth praises his technique and explains that George taught him how to kill and survive. Travis finds them and tells Chris to return to the boat. He averts his eyes as Chris kills one more infected.
Madison tells Melissa that they are setting sail and asks if she had intentionally flashed the light to signal them. Melissa admits that she signaled them in the hopes that they would take Harry and Willa, since George and Seth are planning for the entire family to die together on the island.
Later, and unaware of his parents' wishes, Seth manages to get on the Abigail and points his rifle at Travis to try to get to Harry. The last time Seth was shown on the dock with his little brother after killing his infected mother.
