Shane Walsh is one of two protagonists and determinately an antagonist, as well as a survivor of the outbreak in GameMill Entertainment's The Walking Dead: Destinies. He determinately serves as the primary antagonist of "Survival of the Fittest".
Overview[]
Shane will do whatever it takes to keep the group safe… whether they like it or not. If Shane had been in charge, would more of the original group survived?
Pre-Apocalypse[]

Before the apocalypse began, Shane's partner and childhood friend Rick Grimes was shot in the line of duty. He desperately called for help as Rick fell into a coma.

After tensions boil over, Shane brings Rick out to an open field alone, with intention to kill him. If the player sides with Rick, then after a hard fought battle, Rick kills Shane by stabbing him in the chest. Soon afterwards, Shane reanimates and is immediately shot in the head by Rick.

- He is one of the seven characters who can determinately outlive their TV Series counterpart, the others being Merle Dixon, Theodore Douglas, Lori Grimes, Dale Horvath, Hershel Greene, and Philip Blake.
- He is also one of the four characters who can suffer the same fate as his TV Series counterpart, (Determinant) the others being Lori Grimes (Determinant), Sophia Peletier, and Penny Blake (Determinant).
- Unlike his TV counterpart, this version of Shane seems to hold some religious beliefs. This is most notably seen when he asks for God to forgive him after he leaves Maggie/Beth.
- While Rick and Shane are fighting to the death, Shane mentions how he stole the principals car, similar to his TV counterpart.
