Simmons is a survivor of the outbreak in Thomas Dunne Books' The Walking Dead. He is a resident of Tent City.

Nothing is known about Simmons's life prior to or as the outbreak began.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Tent City[]
Some time after the outbreak, Simmons joined up with the survivors that formed Tent City. Bob Stookey told Lilly Caul that Simmons was one of the people deciding what to do with Joshua Hamilton after he killed Chad Bingham. He and the others decided to kick Josh out of the camp.
It is unknown what happened to him after Tent City was destroyed by walkers and engulfed by flames. Lilly's group stated that it was very unlikely that anyone survived.
