The Smith & Wesson Model 327 Performance Center M&P R8 is a scandium alloy framed revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. In 2006, the Performance Center introduced the M&P R8 (which is marketed towards police use), a 5" barrelled variant with steel cylinders and barrel shrouds and fitted with rails.
