Sonny Hopkins is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in Thomas Dunne Books' The Walking Dead.

Sometime after the outbreak Hopkins, one of the grunts of Bryce's group, stumbled across Nalls and other doctors. They teamed up and holed up in Atlanta Medical Center, their mission being kidnap children and use them to develop a cure for the plague.

Jinx, after killing Soames, alerts some grunts in to the van where she and others are kept prisoners. Sonny steps in, and Jinx empties her gun to Sonny's head. His body falls outside, next to the van.
