Sophia's father is a survivor of the outbreak mentioned in Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is Carol's former husband and Sophia's father.

Sophia's father was a car salesman and the breadwinner of the family. While he was successful in convincing Carol to marry him, she only accepted the proposal out of fear of being alone. It is implied that their marriage was not a very happy one, and he would occasionally be physically abusive towards Carol, though she still dubs him a "good guy", likely due to his status as a good father and provider for the family.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Shortly after the outbreak started, he witnessed his parents get devoured by zombies. This trauma eventually caused him to give up on life, and he was killed shortly after.
