Sophie, also referred to as Soph, is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series. She is the twin sister of Minerva and the older sister of Tennessee. She was a supply runner for Ericson's Boarding School before Marlon agreed to trade her and Minerva to the Delta.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Location Unknown[]
Nothing is known about Sophie's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she had a twin sister and an adoptive brother and all attended Ericson's Boarding School. According to Violet, she was an artsy person, often partaking in activities like painting.
Post-Apocalypse[]
At the onset of the apocalypse, all of the adults at the Ericson's Boarding School left except for the nurse Ms. Martin, forcing Sophie and the other students to fend for themselves.
Roughly six years following the outbreak, Sophie, Minerva, Brody and Marlon went out on a supply run and encountered the Delta. Marlon struck a deal with Abel to allow the Delta to take Sophie and Minerva in exchange for the rest of the children being left alone, then had Brody pretend with him to the others that the sisters had been killed by walkers. Minerva went along with this decision to protect Tennessee and the others, but Sophie always desired to return to the school. At the school, the students made makeshift graves for the sisters and filled them with some of their belongings.
The Delta took Sophie and Minerva in and trained them to fight in their war against an enemy faction. Despite having what Minerva considered to be a good life with the Delta, Sophie never grew to accept their place with their abductors, causing trouble within their ranks with her disobedience.
At some point, Sophie convinced Minerva to flee with her on a raft to get away, but the two of them did not get far before being captured by the Delta. Minerva- wanting to prove her loyalty to her new home after making the mistake of fleeing- killed her own sister, an action that led to her being welcomed back into the Delta by Lilly. Sophie's murder haunted Minerva, but she would ultimately come to justify it to herself.
The Final Season[]
"Done Running"[]
About a year after Sophie and Minerva were declared dead by Marlon and Brody, Clementine was brought to the school after being rescued from her car crash. She was placed in the bedroom formerly occupied by the sisters during her recovery. Clementine can find a photograph of Sophie, Minerva and Violet along with other photos including Tennessee in the drawer next to her bed.
The following night after Clementine helps deliver a large stash of food to the school, Tennessee makes a drawing of his family in a prospective afterlife. He shows it to Clementine, describing how Sophie would have made them a house to live in. He offers to let Alvin Jr. and Clementine be in his drawing; if AJ is allowed to be in the drawing, Tennessee lets the two of them keep it as he gets to work on a different drawing. Clementine then has the option of pinning the drawing to the wall in their bedroom.

"Broken Toys"[]
When Clementine, AJ, Willy and Louis/Violet encounter Minerva near the Delta's ship, (Determinant) she is asked what became of Sophie. Subdued, Minerva claims that Sophie had died in service to the Delta like "a hero", which outrages Clementine. If Violet was present to hear this statement, she later tells Clementine that she did not recognize Minerva as the girl she had once known given the way she had spoken about Sophie.

After Clementine is captured on board the ship, Lilly narrates the stories of Sophie and Minerva. Lilly pointedly asks Minerva how the story ends, leading her to set aside her doubts and admit that she had killed Sophie. Louis/Violet brings up Sophie a few minutes later when trying to distract Minerva from Clementine's efforts to escape. (Determinant)
"Take Us Back"[]
If Clementine honestly tells Tennessee that she had witnessed Minerva get bitten by walkers, Tennessee solemnly hopes that she will be reunited with Sophie in the afterlife. When Minerva later tracks Tennessee to a broken bridge, she mentions Sophie to him when she urges him to join her in death.
