Nothing is known about Stephanie's life prior to or as the outbreak began.
At some point in the apocalypse, Stephanie joined a community called the Hilltop Colony.
Stephanie watches in horror as Rick and Ethan get in a fight, resulting in the latter's death. She then watches as Kal and Eduardo attempt to arrest Rick. Fortunately, Jesus cools down the situation. Later that day, she is among the Hilltoppers to attend Ethan's funeral.
Stephanie leans herself against a table while talking to another Hilltop resident.
Stephanie is among the several Hilltoppers killed during the Saviors' tainted weapons attack on Hilltop. She was either killed during the battle itself or was injured and later succumbed to her wounds from the tainted weapons.

This list shows the victims Stephanie has killed:
- Possibly a few zombies
- "Knots Untie" (No Lines)
- "Go Getters" (No Lines)
- In the episode "Go Getters", Stephanie was originally going to have a line, and would be credited for her appearance. However, her line was cut and she remained uncredited.
- The character is named after her actress, Stephanie Rae.
- ↑ Stephanie has not been seen since Season 7 and several events have occurred that left her fate unclear. However, with the Saviors' tainted weapons attack on the Hilltop, several people are killed as indicated by dialogue in the episode and the large amount of additional graves shown in the graveyard. Because of this, and Stephanie's continued absence, it is likely she is among the casualties of All Out War, if she did not die sooner.
