I added Lost background cast in the external link section. As lost is the gold standard wiki, quoting it here is more as an example of what this page has the potential to one day be, rather than having any connection to Walking Dead, which it obviously does not. That's not a problem with me. When I joined Lostpedia, I did a lot of work with the background cast pages. Almost all of the pictures and info from the Tail Section background and Ajira flight background casts was from me, and a good number from the Middle Section background cast came from me as well. It is there that I learned the skill to pry around Google for information and pictures of the BC. Redskin[]

The Lost page states:

"Redshirt" is not the same as background actor. "Redshirt" is a fan term for minor characters (not the actors) who are often introduced in an episode or scene for the purpose of being killed by the plot, and may be either a speaking or nonspeaking role. "Background actor" is a term for the actors (not the characters) who portray non-speaking roles, roles which may or may not be redshirt characters. Some guest actors and even part of the main cast on Lost played Flight 815 redshirts; these are by definition not background roles.

Woodbury survivors[]

There are about 75-ish people in Woodbury, yet this page shows over 100 of them. Is this a mistake? 174.84.234.195 17:46, February 16, 2013 (UTC)

Well I mean, I guess officially there's only supposed to be 73 people in Woodbury (with about 60 or less unnamed aka background survivors) but I guess in some episodes/scenes, some extras aren't available with filming, so they have to bring in new ones, while some extras have been on the show since the beginning. So eventually you're gonna have up to 100+ extras that play the background citizens, but they will only show 30-40 on screen at a time.

Same lady?[]

Repeated people everywhere[]

I would just like to add that there are SO MANY people repeated in the Woodbury section. I was about to remove some of them, but then I noticed that so many of them are repeated, it would take me all day to remove one by one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheGrimBotch (talk • contribs)

He doesn't appear in the last episode and we never see his death. Probably he's alive or at least unknown.

Abigail Jackson[]

So I was browsing IMDB and found a lady (Abigail Jackson) listed as a Woodbury resident in This Sorrowful Life. Don't think they showed Woodbury in this episode so I wonder if its a mistake on IMDB, though the link above shows TWD listed on the actress' profile. Anyone recognize her? Jillian?[]

So one of the casualties in Infected is a young woman wearing a red shirt and white pants. Anyone think it is the same person as Jilian McLendon? Guess they are the same. User:Wannabposh, who created a page for the actress and was able to identify the extra in the first place, confirms that the body is indeed Jillian. The actress' Facebook page also confirms this. Matter resolved. --Mistertrouble189 (talk) 23:24, October 23, 2013 (UTC)

The Elderly African American Lady[]

Nose and mouth seems to be very similar. About 85% sure they are the same person. I have yet to contact Randy Woods asking if he was in Season 3 as a Woodbury survivor. I will wait to see other episodes in S4 before making a final conclusion (Denny Ainsworth said he will be up for an interview until after episode 10...does that mean the extras will be around for that long? Maybe.) People with names without page[]

Errm lol well alot of these extras are just nameless and are camp survivors Nicole from the Sanctuary is the actress but we don't have her surname and Ann Marie Rivers is a charatcer made up and doesn't really deserve a page as does some of the savior pages. --Bailey16 (talk) 23:11, January 18, 2017 (UTC)

Hi Marsopa Voladora, I am one of the administrators and am involved with minor things like the background survivors. Bailey is correct in his responses but I will address the people you listed above...

Jan - first name of extra, not name of character, page not needed
Joe Hernandez - name of extra, can have a cast page but not a character page (not needed)
Mitch - first name of extra, not name of character, page not needed
Josh - extra who hasn't appeared on screen yet, made up name for character but so minor that no page needed. However, you can create a cast page for Joshua Seymour instead. Check out other cast pages for extras to get a good format like Denny Ainsworth or Bill Vella.
Larry the Savior - very minor extra, no lines or notable actions. If he dies, then maybe he could get a page because he is recurring and made a name for his character
Nicole - first name of extra, not name of character, page not needed
Jackson Wallace the Savior - same reasoning as Larry's
TKO the Savior - same reasoning as Larry's
Anna Marie Rivers - very minor extra who had like two appearances, made up name for character but page not really needed.

Jake is up for discussion as I have not seen proof that he named his character, but he could get a page as he is a recurring Alexandria extra and has appeared for 3 seasons versus being a minor extra with 1 or a few appearances. Thanks. --Mistertrouble189 (talk) 00:20, January 19, 2017 (UTC)
