To add to that fact, he did give us some info on John Dorie I and John Dorie II, that being that the 1st is the one who originally acquired the guns and that the 2nd used the guns to take down and thus also hinting that he too was a lawman. + | Yeah he should not be referred to as JD, should use his full name instead. I did see AMC referred to him as "J.D." in their episode summary for 613, poor excuse to use shorthand when writing IMO (on AMC's part), so we should stick with either John Dorie Sr. or Dorie Sr., for consistency. --Mistertrouble189 (talk) 18:30, 17 May 2021 (UTC) |

+ | *I'd say to only call him that in situations where we actually need to separate him from his son. No reason not to call him just John unless we're given something different in an upcoming episode and if we need to talk about something to do with this John and the old John at the same time, we can just call him John Sr. That's what I did on a few of the pages on here anyway. I think that makes the most sense. We don't full name or just last name anyone else... well anyone whose first name we know anyways.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 19:13, 17 May 2021 (UTC) |

+ | *Agreed. Using just John is fine as well, I was more referring to situations that mention the son and father. --Mistertrouble189 (talk) 19:20, 17 May 2021 (UTC) |

Name
From what he told June at Bill's, it sounds more like he's John Dorie V rather than a Senior while the other John is John Dorie VI.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 01:35, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
