Dead?

Is it ever explicitly stated that Luke and Molly are dead?  TheUnknown285 (talk) 03:54, February 17, 2014 (UTC)

We'll be looking into this within the new few hours or so. Sorry for any confusion. We'll get things sorted out.

Shellturtleguy (talk) 03:54, February 17, 2014 (UTC)

This article says they were eaten by the tracks. That wasn't them, it is shown to be Christopher & his father. They should be listed as unknown for now. (Unknown) 04:04, February 17, 2014 (UTC)

As far as we know, Luke & Molly are not dead. Whoever is putting them as dead is very confused & misunderstanding the episode. --BloodyFreak (talk) 06:59, February 18, 2014 (UTC)

I agree I raised this on the Inmates entry talk, I think talk of their demise is premature....EuroTrash (talk) 19:24, February 18, 2014 (UTC)

Agreed. Anyone who thinks the black shoe symbolizes Luke or Molly  I suggest going back and rewatching Season 4, Episode 10.

All the people who were killed are in the same scenes with Tyreese.  It's probably the shoe of a small woman not a child.

Tyreese nor Carol knew who any of those people were.  They just happened to be traveling on the train tracks by the prison.  How would you explain Molly or Luke hooking up with these people?  It makes no sense.

Molly and Luke were last scene holding Judith who is now in Tyreese's hands.  Tyreese ended up with Judith, so obviously something happened to both of them at the prison.  The blood on Judith's baby carrier is probably one of theirs or both and Tyreese probably knows what happened to them or they are hiding somewhere on the prison grounds. --Fluids 17:31, February 20, 2014 (UTC)

Nope. The last we saw of Molly and Luke is when they ran off after Lizzie shot Alisha. They weren't holding Judith when they did.

Please explain this: http://th01.deviantart.net/fs70/200H/f/2013/361/f/c/luke__mika__judith_e_molly_by_twdmeuvicio-d6zo2fu.png

OK, let's follow your logic:

Molly and Luke run off (Judith is left in a baby carrier all alone somewhere and manages not to get eaten) and they run past swarms of zombies streaming through all the prison fences and then make their way to a set of railroad tracks.  As they follow the railroad tracks they run into a group of armed strangers (a guy named Chris was one of them) that cannot defend them well against only four or five zombies and they all get bitten or eaten.  The zombies eat all the kids so fast that when Tyreese arrives as the attack is occuring the only thing left is one shoe which he doesn't recognize as belonging to Luke or Molly.  If Luke's body is being devoured (which I don't see at all in that scene) why isn't Tyreese, Carol or the girls crying over their deaths or even recognizing them like Beth supposedly did four or five hours later at the same site?

Sorry, I am finding it hard to believe that small children (with no weapons) can outflank hordes of zombies only to meet their demise while joining a larger armed group of adults by only 4 or 5 zombies at the railroad tracks.  Doesn't make too much sense does it?  You guys just saying this is what happened with no explanation isn't selling me on Luke or Molly's demise location. It's not the tracks guys.  It's the prison...

How about this?  The people on the tracks had nothing to do with the prison and there was a small woman or child in that group that was bitten and eaten who wore black hiking boots (like a lot of them do).  Luke's footwear is also different from what is pictured (I provide a comparison image below). If anything Mika's shoes match what was found at the railroad tracks.

Luke and Molly were swarmed by walkers inside of the prison and never made it out.

It was Beth and Daryl that found Mika and Lizzie's tracks and tracked them to that location.

Beth was the one who ironically thought the shoe was Mika's (when we all know Mika is alive.)

The scene would have worked better if Beth had screamed Mika's name while she was crying so we all would know who the true source of her grief was for.

Let me present this very simply. Say, Luke and Molly did in fact get overrun in the forest. However, who's to say they did not reanimate? In that case shouldn't their status be Presumed Undead? Then you'd ask why Walkers would not finish their whole meal. Remember, there were plenty of other survivors in the immediate area and they could have diverted away from their meal, leaving the two to reanimate. If that episode with Daryl and Beth escaping the graveyard, the scene where the van leaves was not shown and just showed Beth's dropped bag, would you guys have put her status as Dead as well? This is not the first time this is happening. I've edited Julio's page (the guy who was shot in the SHOULDER during the Prison assault) to make his status Undead since he would have reanimated afterwards. I honestly question the policies on this wiki as to why Julio, Molly and Luke's pages aren't being credible concerning their status. We should not just assume that they are Dead because newcomers to this wiki will take that as FACT and if somehow the two kids appear later, this wiki is gonna have a bad day. Them being completely devoured by walkers is just a single one of millions of different outcomes - it shouldn't be taken as fact until made clear otherwise later in the story. If it never happens, their status should remain Unknown. -- Unknown

They are dead. That was their bodies being consumed. They probably didn't use the exact same shoe because they didn't have it on hand and they figured no one would notice. Beth clearly recognized the tracks as Luke and Molly's as well as the bodies. She NEVER mentioned Mika. Immortalslayer90 (talk) 00:13, October 4, 2014 (UTC)

Hold on a minuet?

You have me believe that two kids that are in the random forest, with little training in weapons manage to survive the walkers? Really? But two men like Wade and Cam can't?NoOnesThere (talk) 04:28, September 7, 2020 (UTC)

Death?

But hold one if Luke's & Molly's fate is unknown then should the fate of all the other Prison/Woodbury survivors who survived the Governor's gun fire and moved to the prison, but were never seen again after the prison battle and were never seen dying on screen also be changed to having an unknown fate. These include: Eryn, Ms. Mcleod, Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Foster and finally Eileen and her baby. • Rest of Woodbury folks were killed off as confirmed by Casting. Same with prison folks (especially extras) regardless if seen or not, they were killed off on the bus (several people were actually removed from the bus filming because they had too many extras, and others weren't called back because of that space/filming issue, including Sherry Richards who portrayed Jeanette). Luke and Molly are likely dead since they ran back into the destroyed prison and were never acknowledged again. Read the episode summary for 408 on Molly's page for better insight on what probably happened. --Mistertrouble189 (talk) 16:17, September 7, 2020 (UTC)
