The Althea Tapes are a six part mini series featuring Althea Szewczek-Przygocki interviewing different survivors prior to her encounter with Morgan. This release was done to help promote the second half of the fifth season of Fear The Walking Dead.
The first two episodes premiere on July 27, 2019, on The Walking Dead YouTube channel.

#1: Al
Original air date: July 27, 2019
After her encounter with Isabelle and the helicopter, Althea confesses a newfound hope for the future and the importance of her taped interviews.
#2: Ed
Original air date: July 27, 2019
Al makes an arrangement with Ed, a reluctant survivor trying to get home to his family. Quid pro quo: Al will drive him to Tyler, Texas in exchange for Ed's story.
#3: Earl and CJ
Original air date: July 31, 2019
Al interviews C.J. and Earl, a mismatched pair of travelers with vastly different stories. Over the course of the interview, new insights change the way Earl and C.J. understand each other and a new course is charted.
#4: Clark
Original air date: August 2, 2019
Al interviews Clark, a family man, who's emerged from seclusion to check on his former place of business. Over the course of the interview, Al senses an opportunity that might pay off down the road.
#5: Jody
Original air date: August 4, 2019
Al interviews Jody, a surgeon from before the fall. Despite the trauma she’s endured, Jody focuses on doing all she can to help other survivors.
#6: Samora
Original air date: TBA
Al interviews Samora, a survivor struggling with debilitating obsessive-compulsive disorder. Samora recounts her journey to the brink and what brought her back.
