The Cave is a location that appears in The Walking Dead: All-Stars.
Post-Apocalypse[]
During the onset of the apocalypse, the military bombed all of Buffalo, New York. Due to the bombing, the buildings that make up the cave started to topple over each other, but still leaving enough space for survivors and zombies alike to walk through it, similar to a tunnel. After some time, one of the ends partially collapsed and thus leading it to be called the cave by the Asyl survivors. While on a run, the Asyl survivors are being followed by a huge heard of walkers. Their plan to get rid of them is to lure every walker into the cave and then have Lake detonate some bombs at the open end to trap them all in there, thus officially collapsing The Cave once and for all.
Despite this, there was still enough of The Cave that remained that was subsequently used by The Raiders as a hideout. Lake discovered this and planned on closing the entrance thus elimating the threat once and for all.
