The Gearheads are a group of survivors introduced in Season 8 of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. It was created by Luciana Galvez to supply gasoline to other survivors and, in many ways, continue the work of Clayton's Group and the Caravan.
Overview[]
Along with refining gas for PADRE and other survivors, the group in many ways continues the work of Clayton's Group and the Caravan to help other survivors all over the country, clearing roads and leaving supplies taken from PADRE's containers in 23 way stations stretching from Georgia to Arizona. They also leave the "take what you need, leave what you don't" message used by Clayton and his people on their signs.
With the resources taken from PADRE, the group's operations are far bigger than anything that Clayton or the Caravan had ever done, but they also operate in the shadows to protect themselves.
Like Clayton's group, this group uses callsigns with Luciana taking on the moniker of Polar Bear, the callsign that Clayton had used.
