The Proctors are a motorcycle gang in AMC's Fear The Walking Dead, who are led by their president Proctor John and control numerous trading posts, including El Bazar. They served as the primary antagonistic group of the second half of Season 3.

Pre-Apocalypse

United States-Mexican Borders

According to their president Proctor John and judging from the badges on the Proctors' jackets, the history of the Proctors predates the apocalypse. Their motorcycle club was established before the outbreak with a considerable scale. Chapters were widely spread across the American-Mexican border, from California to Texas, although the Mother Chapter seemed to be located at Southern California. John had been the president even before the apocalypse, and he was also an influential man who had connections in Mexico.

Post-Apocalypse

Mexicali, Baja California

Sometime after the initial outbreak, the Proctors occupied an abandoned Bullfighting arena, and started a trading post there with their hoarded resources. The news attracted survivors, coming with their own resources for trade. Eventually, the trading post prospered and flourished, and it was named "El Bazar" by the survivors. In "Things Bad Begun", Proctor John told Alicia that the Proctors had plans to expand their trading network across the entire Mexican-American border, from California to Texas, from the Pacific Coast to the Mexican Gulf.

Their progress appeared to be halted after encountering Madison's group at the Gonzalez Dam. The standoff left some of the Proctors dead and the dam, which was to be a new trading post, was destroyed.

It is unknown if they are still in control of the Mexican-American border or still active.
